Pookinuk.com.au recently did some research of their members/customers to find out which dog
breeds are the best “date bait’ and which aren’t. The feedback was most interesting as many had
met their current and some even aim to meet their future partners via their dog.
Jane Templeton founder of Pookinuk says “One woman, Sarah, met her husband whilst out
walking her poodle, Fifi. She saw this handsome guy walking towards them smiling and was really
surprised when he asked her about Fifi. They got talking about Fifi’s funny little habits and the rest
is history! They’re now married with two children, Fifi and a pug called Ralph”.
PR executive Danny loves dogs but doesn’t have time in her hectic life to own a dog so she
volunteers at the Sydney Dogs Home.
“You can volunteer there and walk dogs on any morning of the week and there are always other
volunteers there doing the same thing. Never know who you’ll meet! Plus you are showing off as
the loving, caring, giving, volunteering type person that you are!” says Danny.
So if you’re over online dating, speed dating and hanging out in bars then why not try dog walking!
At the very least you will become fit and get out in the great outdoors and you may meet not only
your next boyfriend but probably new friends too.

outfits for dogs on our site next! It looks like there’s going to be huge demand!”
