WHAT A FANTASTIC IDEA AND IT WORKS!!
Introducing the Pet Loo!
Just think - "what if I could find a product that would allow my dog to go to the toilet inside the house, by itself, that didn't stink, was easy to clean amd simple to use".
Well think no more - its called the Pet Loo!
The Pet Loo eliminates:
- messy stains on the carpet
- the need for early morning walks
- having to rush home to let the dog do its business
It's a backyard in a box and it works! (Measures approx 80cm x 80cm)
Put simply, the base catches the wee through the fake grass, the drainage system catches the wee and collects it in a central point. A jug catches the wee from this central point allowing the owner to dispose of the waste in an appropriate manner.
The Loo:
The Loo is 83cm square and is 15cm high and weighs a lite 7kg. Is easily stored on a balcony, in the laundry, around the office or in a corner at home.
The base is made of a specially sourced material which is resistant to the acidity of the urine and the smell, allowing for a hygenic and long lasting product.
The base has also been tested to a weight of 300kgs so it can handle all sizes of dogs!
The Grass:
Extensive testing has ensured the most appropriate synthetic grass has been used to allow for maximum drainage.
The grass can be easily cleaned daily by rinsing with warm water, alternatively lift out the grass and hose down. Where possible allow the grass to dry out and also air the base unit.
Tip:
A spare grass could also come in handy to prolong the life of your synthetic grass. While one is being cleaned and aired, the other could be used on the base.
Catchment Jug:
The catchment jug holds 1.75 litres and has been positioned in such a position to allow it to be easily removed and poured down the toilet.
Training:
Praise Praise and more Praise!
Your Puppy:
- place your puppy on the pet loo at toilet time (a good time for this is after your puppy has had a sleep, or has eaten)
- keep your puppy on the Pet Loo until they wee
- praise the puppy after the successful outcome
An Older Dog:
- some dogs are more territorial than others however some dogs like to mark their territory
- try collecting a sample of some dog urine and tipping it on the pet loo. Allow your dog to then mark its territory on the Pet Loo and your away. Again praise this first wee so that your dog pick ups on the positive action.
